Roger J. Couture
Roger is the
President and founder of Ariel Link and
has spent more than 25 years in consulting
with clients to improve there earnings by
managing telecommunication services. Prior
to founding Ariel Link in 1998, he spent
6 years as the Business Director for a private
telecommunications audit firm and assisted
in the transformation to an expense management
corporation before going public. He worked
closely with Fortune 500 organizations to
reduce their expenses through telecommunication
contract negotiations, error identification,
and correction and refund recovery. Roger
was on the leading edge of introducing to
the market place Telecom Expense Management
Services for inventory management, invoice
processing and automation of carrier bill
payments.
Prior to telecommunications
Expense Management, Roger was with a fiber
optics based, by-pass long distance provider
offering the first nationwide Frame Relay
networks. Here, Roger identified the market
potential of telecommunications outsourcing
of auditing and contract negotiations. Significant
time was spent visiting clients with invoice
overcharges for which the carrier policy
was no refunds.
Prior to the fiber optics carrier, Roger
was involved on the hardware side of telecommunications
with AT&T Financial Services and AT&T/Paradyne.
He worked with large corporations on financing
large telecommunication capital acquisitions,
network design and optimization, network
monitoring and management and the integration
of new technologies. Roger is a graduate
of California State University at Long Beach
where he received his Bachelor of Science
degree in business administration.
Brent Couture
Brent, Director of Carrier Relations for
Ariel Link has overall responsibilities
for corporate direction, carrier relations
and client management. Prior to joining
Ariel Link, Brent had ten years of carrier
experience where he managed contract negotiations
and pricing for large customers, financial
analysis and network design. Brent's experience
has been with both RBOCs such as GTE, venturing
into the competitive long distance market
place and with start up CLECS competing
with the monopolies such as CNM Network.
Brent has a Bachelor of Arts in business
finance from University of California, San
Diego, where he also played intercollegiate
volleyball.
Caroline Parra
Manager of West
Coast Audit Operations for four years and
Manages western United States audits for
Ariel Link, negotiates claim settlements
with telecommunications vendors and interfaces
with client management. Telecommunications
audit experience as lead audit analyst and
liaison between telecommunications vendors
and client management. Additional skills
include accounting, billing verification
and LEC relations.
Caroline was with an RBOC for 16 years
prior to joining Ariel Link where she managed
finance and payroll cash management, sales,
Service Manager, and eventually Management
of Wholesale Markets with vendor interface
to LECs and Long Distance carriers. Managed
CLEC and LD vendor connectivity issues,
tariff and contract review for correct rates
and correction of billing errors. Utilization
review resulted in over $2M in back billings
for the RBOC.
Raymond Coleman
Audit Supervisor, Midwest and located in
Wisconsin, Ray has over seven years of experience
in the management, coordination and supervision
of telecommunications audits for major,
multi-site client base. Ray has a successful
skill set as an auditor, negotiator, RFP
preparation and network design for service
convergence. Supervises coordination of
refund claims, organization of status reports,
vendor negotiations and performance of physical
inventory procedures. Audit assignments
include local and long distance services
for over 1,500 locations nationwide and
extensive private line network consisting
of thousands of circuits and facilities
provided by carriers throughout the United
States. Technical expertise in auditing
private line data network billing permits
Ray to identify numerous erroneous charges
related to complex network.
Prior to Ariel Link, Ray was Payroll Supervisor
coordinating payroll for over 300 employees.
Successfully integrated software technology
to streamline payroll process and manage
the corporation's capital assets.
